Red Giants Esports claimed a thrilling 2-1 victory over Madness Esports in the second week of MPL MY Season 11.
Both teams fought tirelessly in the best-of-three series, but Red Giants Esports emerged victorious with a strong showing in the deciding match.
In the third game, Red Giants managed to secure Wanwan, one of the strongest marksmen in the current meta, leaving Madness Esports to draft Claude and Valentina to try and stop her early in the game.
However, Syf’s Wanwan proved too much for Madness Esports as he ended the match with a massive four kills and four assists, ultimately clinching the series for Red Giants Esports.
In the first game, ZakQT led the way for Red Giants with his Valentina gameplay, finishing with an impressive seven kills, one death, and eight assists.
Madness Esports answered back in the second game with a 25-10 kill score, thanks to Yeyeye’s Arlott, who had ten kills, two deaths, and four assists.
Following their win, Red Giants Esports now holds the second spot in the standings with a 2-0 series win, while Madness Esports has yet to win a series, leaving them with a 0-3 record.
Red Giants Esports will be looking to build on their early success and continue to climb the ranks in the coming weeks of the MPL MY Season 11.
