Cloud9 finalizes Valorant Roster With Addition of Young Talents

Cloud9 has reportedly locked in its roster with the addition of two rising stars in the Valorant scene.

According to a Dot Esports report, the organization is set to sign Jake “jakee” Anderson and Dylan “runi” Cade.

This comes after stars Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker and Anthony “vanity” Malaspina left the team shortly after their disappointing performance at the VCT LOCK//IN in Brazil.

Jakee is looking to break into the top tier of competitive Valorant after competing in the collegiate league for the entirety of 2023.

On the other hand, Runi has previously served as the pack leader for Soniq’s squad from April 2022 to January 2023.

Despite their potential, these players are not yet well-known compared to established players like yay and Vanity.

As a result, some people are concerned that they may struggle with the intense pressure and scrutiny from the community.

The team will also have a shorter time to build their synergy, as they have a few weeks remaining before the Americas League start early next month.

C9 will be competing in their inaugural match of the Americas international league against Evil Geniuses on April 3.
