North American powerhouse Sentinels has added a new player to its VALORANT roster following the temporary suspension of Hunter “SicK” Mims.
Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, formerly with OpTic and known as one of the best controllers in the world, will take up the sixth spot on the team, according to a Dot Esports report.
The move came after Mims’ arrest for criminal trespassing on March 4, leading to his temporary suspension by Sentinels on March 6.
While the team aims to support Mims during this difficult time, the upcoming franchise league prompted them to sign a replacement for the vacant spot.
Marved won the VCT Stage One Masters event last year with OpTic before he left the team.
Marved’s last official match was with “UNTAMABLE BEASTS” alongside Jay “sinatraa” Won during the Challengers qualifiers.
