ONIC Esports Clinches Playoffs Spot in MPL ID S11

MPL ID reigning champion ONIC Esports have secured their spot in this season’s MPL ID playoffs, just four weeks into the regular season – the first team to do so.

With an impressive match record of 9-0, they remain the only team yet to suffer a loss.

They have only lost five games out of 18 played so far and currently lead in aggregate points with a score of +13.

In addition, team members Calvin “CW” Winata and Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol are dominating the kill ranking, occupying the first and third spots with 124 and 114 kills respectively.

Meanwhile, RRQ Hoshi, EVOS Legends, and Geek Slate hold the second spot with a record of 5-4 each.

ONIC Esports’ impressive performance can be attributed to their acquisition of Filipino import Kairi and head coach Denver “Yeb” Miranda last season.

This new addition has helped the team to dominate and secure their third MPL ID trophy after dethroning RRQ Hoshi in the grand finals last season.

As they head into Week 5, ONIC Esports will once again face their fierce rivals, RRQ Hoshi, on Friday, and Alter Ego on Saturday.
