Polaris Taps a Familiar Face for DPC SEA Tour 2

Polaris Esports tapped a familiar face to help the team in its return to Division 1 of the Dota Pro Circuit Southeast Asia Tour 2.

Marvin “Boomy” Rushton will replace John “Jing” Duyan as the team’s position four, the organization announced on Saturday.

“The Polaris Esports camp welcomes an old friend back to the fold. Boomy will be joining us once more in the campaign to reach higher in Dota 2,” said Polaris Esports in a Facebook post.

Polaris Esports climbed to Division I by securing the second seed in Division II. They posted a 6-2 win-loss standing, only losing to Army Geniuses in the entire round.

Boomy, on the other hand, last suited up for Team SMG. He helped the team finish fifth in Tour 1.

Polaris Esports will join Army Geniuses, Execration, Talon Esports, Geek Slate, Blacklist Rivalry, Team SMG, and Bleed Esports in Tour 2.

The team also announced that they will compete in the upcoming IESF qualifiers.
