Team Liquid’s Samuel “Boxi” Svahn has opened up about his recent health situation, following his sudden departure from the Lima Major in Peru.

Boxi was unable to participate in the upper bracket final due to an emergency medical treatment, which prompted analyst Mathis “Jabbz” Friesel to take his place in the remaining games.

In a recent tweet, he expressed gratitude for the support he received and stated that he is managing the condition, although he prefers not to disclose further details.

Despite finishing as the runners-up against Gaimin Gladiators in the major, Boxi has shared that he is feeling better and will be receiving a diagnosis for his condition soon.

“Thanks so much for everyone’s support, really means a lot. I was feeling very unwell and had to leave the Major in order to receive treatment at home,” he said.

“Getting a diagnosis and will be managing it. Prefer not to share details, currently doing okay.”

Boxi also confirmed that he will be playing in the upcoming DPC season from home, rather than with his teammates.
