Execration is becoming the ‘King of Draw’ in the Lima Major with six draws in total so far, the most in the tournament.

The all-Filipino team is still in search for its breakthrough win in the tournament after suffering another pair of draws in the third day of eliminations.

Facing up against more favored teams in PSG.LGD and Evil Geniuses, Execration despite the inconsistencies in its play, managed to hold its own and force 1-1 decisions in both assignments.

PSG.LGD dominated Execration in the opening game of their series, claiming a one-sided 29-10 victory behind stellar performance Guo “Shiro” Xuanang on the Lina and Cheng Jin “NothingToSay” Xiang on the Ember Spirit.

The Filipinos though refused to go down without a fight as Justine “Tino” Grimaldo and Mark Anthony “Bob” Urbina came alive in Game 2 behind their Ember Spirit and Nature’s Prophet picks.

In the second match of the day meanwhile, the Filipino crew started with a gutsy 38-23 win over EG in Game 1. Bob on his Ember Spirit ran wild and finished with a monster 16-1-15 line while Jinn Marrye “Palos” Lamatao provided support on his Marci pick.

Refusing to get swept through was EG as it came back roaring in the second game with a lopsided 34-10 to force a draw.

The opening game loss seemed to have poked the sleeping beasts in EG as Christian “Pakazs” Sabina on the Faceless Void and Adrian “Wisper” Robles on the Broodmother took charge for the NA squad.

With the draws, Execration remains out of the playoff picture with a 0-6-1 standing and will be playing in a must-win match against Team Spirit in its final schedule of the group stage.
