P4kbet on Hito’s Move to MY: ‘Susuportahan Namin Siya Kahit Bano Siya’

Omega Esports technical coach revealed what he said to Robie “Hito” Candoy after the latter revealed that he received an offer from Team Haq to play for them in the MPL Malaysia Season 11.

Pakbet said that the entire Omega Esports squad supported Hito and urged him to take the offer after the former WoRk standout failed to land a spot in the Smart-backed squad’s MDL team.

Hito was acquired by Omega Esports back in Season Eight but failed to have a legitimate role in the team. He was eventually removed from the roster in the following season but stayed with the team as a talent.

P4kbet also revealed that the team was set to bring back Hito as talent but the opportunity proved to be too hard to pass up.

“Sabi namin sa kaniya i-go niya na ‘yan kasi si Hito talaga gusto niyang maging player talaga ulit. Ififit namin dapat siya sa MDL team namin kaso may nakuha na kaming gold lane doon sa MDL namin kaya hindi na namin siya nilagay doon,” said Pakbet after Omega Esports’ 2-0 win over RSG Slate PH last Friday.

“Social media sana ulit siya muna pero nung time na chinat siya ng Team Haq, sabi namin go niya na kasi sayang yung opportunity saka experience rin niya yun,” he added.

P4kbet shared that Hito started out as a practice player with Team Haq and played in the team’s scrimmages before getting the offer.

“Ayun, ano nagulat din kami nung sinabi niya sa amin bago siya umalis na kukunin daw siya. Kasi yung bago pa yun sabi niya naglalaro lang daw siya don, nakikiscrim lang daw siya sabi niya sa amin, wala naman daw siyang balak umalis,” said the former Execration mid laner.

“Pero nung sinabi niya sa amin na inofferan na nga raw siya ng Team Haq, sabi namin i-go na niya. Susuportahan namin siya kahit alam namin na bano siya,” he added.

Omega Esports has expressed their support to their former teammate as he tries to restart his stalled career.

“Naguusap-usap pa naman kami ni Hito sabi namin kapag kailangan niya ng tulong, pwede niya kaming kausapin.”
