BOOM Esports Welcomes Ohaiyo as its New Dota 2 Analyst

Former RSG coach Khoo Chong “Ohaiyo” Xin is now the analyst of BOOM Esports, the organization announced yesterday.

In the Facebook post, the organization welcomes the legendary Dota 2 player once again after its short stint with them during The International 11. “Our analyst, Ohaiyo, emerges back to the squad as he will aid us in our conquest of climbing back to Division 1!” they wrote

“He will work hard along our Dota 2 squad for the upcoming season! 🔥”

Ohaiyo will join Chai “Mushi” Yee yet again after the organization was relegated to Division II during the Winter Tour of the DPC Southeast Asia.

During last season, Ohaiyo was mostly working as a coach for RSG and the team showed a lot of improvement over time, where they almost qualified for a slot at TI 11.

Still, Ohaiyo was invited by Mushi to join BOOM Esports as an analyst for the TI11 tournament. Although the team did not perform well in the tournament, Ohaiyo was offered yet another opportunity this time around.

With Ohaiyo back in the team, expect BOOM Esports to aggressively push its return to Division I.
