‌The 300 swept G2 Blacklist 2-0 in the upper bracket of the PH qualifier for the first season of the Wild Rift League Asia on Friday, Feb. 17, giving the newly formed squad a tough introduction to the Wild Rift scene.

The veteran team, made up of the remaining members of the RRQ Philippines team that represented the country in last year’s Icons Global Championship, dominated their opponents to advance to the upper bracket finals against Nigma Galaxy.

Despite a slow start and an early 4-1 lead by G2B, The 300 turned things around in a single clash and scored a decisive 13-7 victory in 27 minutes. Charles “Chazz” Esguerra excelled with a 6-0-5 record on Kha’Zix, while Eric “Exosen” Gubatan contributed a 0-2-12 record on Galio.

The 300 continued their onslaught in Game 2 and secured a wire-to-wire 14-8 win.

G2B will face off against Fennel Adversity in the lower bracket, and the winner will play against the loser of the 300 vs. Nigma Galaxy matchup in the upper bracket for one of the two WRL Asia slots.
