PSG.LGD will be flying to Peru without one of their key players in the DPC China 2023 Tour 1: Division I.

The powerhouse Chinese squad will miss the services of offlaner Li “项羽” Longwu, who will be forced to miss the Lima Major after encountering issues with his visa, the organization announced on Wednesday night.

“Due to visa issues, Li Longwu (项羽), will be unable to participate in the Lima Major. After consideration, we will make the following adjustments: Ren Yangwei (old eLeVeN) will participate in the Lima Major as a substitute,” said PSG.LGD in an official statement.

“We will work hard and strive to achieve a good result in the first Major of the year,” the statement ended.

Xiàng Yǔ played a pivotal role in PSG.LGD’s success in Tour I, helping his side finish at the top spot with a league-best 6-1 win-loss standing. The former TI champion squad’s only loss came at the hands of the third-seeded Knights, who are led by Luo “eGo” Bin and Vincent “AlaCrity” Hiew.

A familiar face in Ren “old eLeVeN” Yangwei, who last played for Xtreme Gaming, will stand in for Xiàng Yǔ for the up-and-coming offlaner in the Lima Major.

The 27-year-old old eLeVeN previously played for a different PSG.LGD side back in 2020. This time around, he will get the chance to play with the likes of Guo “shiro” Xuanang, Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang, Lin “planet” Hao, and Zhang “y`” Yiping.
