During a recent livestream, BetBoom star Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek shared his thoughts about the upcoming Patch 7.33 release which might affect the upcoming Lima Major landscape.

TORONTOTOKYO said that the Lima Major should be played with the current patch because there is not much time left for teams to formulate strategies if they will use the upcoming update.

“For the upcoming Major, I think, teams should be playing on the current patch. Maybe some heroes should be fixed, but they should be minor changes,” said the former TI champion.

“There’s not much time left and the second division is still playing,” he added.

After failing to defend their Aegis last TI, Team Spirit and TORONTOTOKYO parted ways.

The 25-year-old Russian mid laner eventually transferred to BetBoom and teamed up with the likes of Danil “gpk” Skutin and Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko.

Together, they wreaked havoc in Eastern Europe and went on an undefeated run that saw them sweep the tournament en route to a perfect 7-0 card that helped them qualify for the Lima Major.

Team Spirit came in second with a 6-1 standing while Hellraisers clinched third seed with a 5-2 win-loss card.
