Team Liquid Dominates WEU For Lima Major Qualification

Team Liquid showed their dominant form, topping the WEU region to qualify for the Lima Major.

After acquiring Nisha, fans and players alike predicted Team Liquid’s dominance over WEU region. They managed to achieve their expectation, setting a leading example in DPC WEU Division I with seven straight victories and no loss.

With the first place, Team Liquid qualifies for Lima Major, followed by Gaimin’ Gladiators, Tundra Esports, and Entity.

The first week of the Division itself went quite unexpectedly. Team Secret and Nigma Galaxy struggled to impress while Team Liquid and Gaimin’ Gladiators easily earned two victories over the week.

The second week did not get better for the bottom two while Team Liquid kept their momentum up. While other teams were getting a loss, Team Liquid kept on winning games after games, earning five straight victories.

The third week became decider for many of the teams on their respective fates. Team Secret failed to stay in the Division I after losing to Nigma Galaxy in their ‘relegation decider match’. OG, Entity, and Tundra were stuck with perpetual tiebreakers.

However, OG failed to win two of their matches against Tundra and Entity. With their loss, the tiebreakers proceeded to get resolved in the third round, although fans were asking for more rounds.

With the tiebreakers resolved, Team Liquid, Gaimin’ Gladiators, Tundra Esports and Entity became WEU representative for Lima Major.
