3MarTzy, Rafflesia Transfer To MDL ID

Former ECHO players Christian “Rafflesia” Fajura and Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico added to the growing list of Filipino players playing overseas after they signed with MDL Indonesia team Pendekar Esports, the team announced last Thursday.

3MarTzy last played for ECHO in Season 10 while Rafflesia’s last appearance is in Season Nine. Both players struggled to find playing opportunities in the stacked squad, who eventually won the M4 World Championship without them.

The up-and-coming EXP laner was part of the team’s main five during Season Nine but found himself at the edge of ECHO’s bench due to the arrival of rising star Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya.

Meanwhile, Rafflesia experienced the same thing after the team acquired Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera in the same season.

With their playing roles limited, both 3MarTzy and Rafflesia took on major acting roles in ECHO’s various content throughout the season.

The MDL Indonesia Season Seven will begin on February 7, Tuesday.
