GameLab, ZOL Esports complete inaugural MDL PH cast

Amateur teams Gamelab and ZOL Esports joined the eight franchised teams in the first-ever season of the MDL Philippines, the league announced on Wednesday.
Gamelab is coming off an impressive stint in the King’s League tournament organized by Dark League Studios and the Top Clan Winters Invitational where they both won the championship. The team is also part of the SIBOL national training pool for the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia after placing in the top four of the qualifiers.
Composing the team are Dokmen, Takenaga, YukTzy, XBOCT, Aizawa, Dokmen, and Imbading.
ZOL Esports, on the other hand, is spearheaded by two-time MPL PH champion and world champion CJ “Ribo” Ribo. The team has yet to announce their roster as of posting time.

They will join Blacklist Academy, Echo Proud, Nexplay EVOS Tiger Cubs, Smart Omega Neos, Bren Esports x Euphoria, ONIC Arsenals, TNC Neo, and RSG PH in the 10-team field which will begin on February 15. Games will be played offline but the league has yet to announce its setting for the playoffs.
