As fans suspected, Fnatic finally confirmed Raven parting ways with their Dota 2 roster to shake SEA’s roster shakeup.

Ever since their exit from The International 11, fans of Fnatic had been hoping for improvements. With the number of free agents so far in the scene, they hoped Fnatic could snag one or two better players.

It would seem Fnatic have been finally making their moves by parting ways with Raven, their carry.

Via their Social Media, Fnatic said goodbye to their reliable carry, Raven. They stated the main reason behind his departure was contractual matters. Since both agreed to part ways, they released the carry’s contract without any problem.

Now, Fnatic would have to look for a carry player to replace him, with a number of players being suggested.

Names such as ana and Gabbi were thrown out to be potential successors of Raven. However, doubts lingered about whether ana would still be interested in professional Dota. Furthermore, there are no clarifications nor notice of release yet for ana from T1.

Moreso for Gabbi, who has been unsuccessful with many teams so far, including T1 right before the TI11 Qualifiers.

However, there were still fans who held high hopes for the roster. They believed that Gabbi, should the rumor be proven true with him joining with Armel and Kpii, could replicate their Major winning run in the past.

The authenticity of the rumor remains contested as there is no official news yet regarding the roster.
