TIMS and Iceiceice have become the first of many incoming “Great SEA Reshuffle” as the region underperformed during The International 11.

Although The International 11 was finally held in Southeast Asia, the teams did not manage to capitalize on the local fans’ support. Instead, SEA teams were quickly eliminated during the early playoffs. BOOM is the only team to make it further in the playoffs, but lost to PSG.LGD at LB Round 2.

With these results, the SEA reshuffle seems to be inevitable, with TIMS and Iceiceice leading the line.

Although BOOM Esports was handed one of the most difficult runs in TI11, fans were left satisfied by their fight. They managed to defeat the previous champion, Team Spirit, although fell short against PSG.LGD.

With the defeat and early exit of the team, TIMS went on an LFT notice for the next season, due to his contract expiring. However, TIMS also mentioned his renewal discussion which was still ongoing.

TIMS’ performance during The International 11 was also regarded as “solid” and “consistent”. Although he did not manage to shine during BOOM’s series against PSG.LGD, TIMS was able to aid his team in their victory against Team Spirit.

With these performances in mind, many teams would be suitors for TIMS’ service as a dynamic soft support.

The other recent exit from the region was Iceiceice departing from Team SMG after a brief spell with them. Iceiceice only competed in one tournament under the team at GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Thailand 2022. However, their result was less than satisfactory in the tournament as well.

Some fans were not surprised by Iceiceice’d departure since many thought his contract would only last until The International 11.
