Gorgc & Yapzor: BOOM Might Be Able To Beat Team Spirit

Both Gorgc and Yapzor believe that BOOM Esports might have a slight chance for an upset against The International 10 champions, Team Spirit.

BOOM Esports would be facing a mountain to climb, although it still doable. Their next match would be against the previous The International winners, Team spirit, for the BO1 in the Lower Bracket.

As it would be a do-or-die match, BOOM Esports would be anticipated in pulling out all the strats they have to beat the champions.

However, some professional players and community members thought otherwise. They think BOOM would be having a good chance of beating Team Spirit. Some of the sentiments were given by both Gorgc and Yapzor, who were casting The International 11.

Both of them think that BOOM has what it takes to beat the champions, especially in BO1 matches.

“I mean, BOOM will have the momentum. BOOM might be able to beat Spirit, but we will see,” Gorgc explained.

“I think it’s (going to be) a super nice match. If BOOM keeps up the momentum they have today (during tiebreakers), of course,” Yapzor added.

It seems professional players value momentum as one of the main things to have during tournaments. BOOM themselves were on fire after beating both Soniqs and BetBoom to gain the last place for the Lower Bracket.

They were also red hot after beating Group A’s leader, Evil Geniuses, 2-0, securing a 3-way tiebreaker match which they proceeded to win after.
