Team Secret’s talismanic captain, Puppey, told his disappointment about the recent DPC system, which he labeled as “too stressful”.

Right after qualifying for The International 11, Puppey hopped onto the panels to be given the “Winners Interview”. Although the interview started pleasantly, Puppey decided to bring to light the issue of the current DPC.

He felt that the current Dota Pro Circuit is too stressful, and the relevant parties could make a better solution.

During the interview, Puppey was asked about his opinion regarding the DPC system. He didn’t hold back when giving his opinion about the current system.

“It’s a bugged system, it’s not that good (DPC). I think it’s too stressful, six weeks of stuck somewhere plus two weeks of prebuilt camp or something like that.”

Puppey continued to air his frustration towards the Dota Pro Circuit system, although he went about it in an “elegant” way.

“It’s a bit of yikes, you know, esports are fast. We are not morons that need to submit work hours or something, we don’t need downtime. I don’t understand what’s this bulls**t is about.”

However, Puppey later clarified what he means by “downtime”, as he still thinks that pro players deserve to rest.

“We do need downtime, but we can do things fast. We can play fifteen games a day, alright? I understand it’s rough, but our capacity to do things is much higher, as we don’t get tired easily.”
