The International 11 prize pool projection is now on a downward trend, on course to be lower than three previous TIs. Bad signs for pro scene?

The hype for The International 11 is getting closer, yet the prize pool is not reflecting the excitement of fans. Although players were ecstatic for The International 11, it seems the prize pool is on a downward trend.

Furthermore, the prize pool is now $3.1M lower than TI10 and even $40,000 less than The International 8.

One user from Reddit found out the prize pool difference while looking at a prize pool tracker. It was seen that The International 11 is stagnating, and their momentum is slowing down by a lot.

Furthermore, at the 24th days, The International 11 prize pool was even less than The International 8.

Players response to the statistics were less than surprised, as they felt numerous factors contributing to this fact. One of them being Battle Pass 2022 having a lackluster content compared to the previous ones.

One of them went as far as saying that this year’s Battle Pass was “garbage”, and not worth buying for now.

There were even opinions that this year’s Battle Pass was the worst compared to previous years, so far. There were also a number of people saying that this is their first time not buying the Battle Pass.

It seems the overly negative sentiment of the Battle Pass contributed to the dwindling prize pool of The International 11.
