Gunnar Struggles in SEA Server

Following the other players struggling in SEA server such as Topson, Gunnar is the next to witness it firsthand!

SEA server is evidently not everyone’s cup of tea, and pro players also experienced it firsthand. Legendary players such as Topson also had testimonies on how the games could be really “entertaining” on the server.

The same also happened to Gunnar, who was bootcamping in SEA server for the upcoming TI10 Last Chance Qualifier.

While streaming, Gunnar experienced the SEA server experience firsthand after losing a close game. Although his team was winning at a point, he was goaded into a smoke call that went disastrous for his team.

His team’s gold lead suddenly disappeared and he began to lose the game slowly.

Coupled with the fact that his carry, the Templar Assassin, also refused to buy Black King Bar, Gunnar’s team finally lose the game. However, the carry instead blamed Gunnar for his “smoke” calls, even though it was his other teammate who initiated the calls.

Gunnar only silently rubbed his temple while contemplating what just happened in the match.

In the last 8 days after his bootcamp in SEA, his win rate also dipped below 50%. He was observed playing several unique heroes such as Visage with success, but other heroes suffered the same low winrate.

It seems the SEA server challenge would be important for him to adapt to before the Last Chance Qualifier begins in the coming days.
