iNSaNiA Clutches Passport Just in Time for ESL One Malaysia

iNSaNiA almost didn’t make it in time for ESL One Malaysia due to his passport issues.

Team Liquid’s captain Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi revealed that he almost did not make it in time for ESL One Malaysia. According to the captain, his personal belongings, including his passport, got stolen during his stay in the US.

Apparently, iNSaNiA’s car was broken into during his stay in the country. This happened during the Arlington Major where Team Liquid faced a disappointing exit after they got eliminated by BOOM Esports.

Shortly after, the team used their US facilities to train for ESL Malaysia, then iNSaNiA’s problem occurred.

“AHHH I’m so MALD. I got my backpack stolen with all my gear and my passport in it. Currently stuck in the US trying to work with the embassy to get to ESL Malaysia but seems low chance. So sorry to all the fans who wanted to meet me,” he told in a tweet.

After a few hours, the captain followed through saying that he will be making it to Malaysia in time. Apparently, he was able to secure a new passport.

He also added that he will be sharing his story in an interview at ESL One Malaysia.

With this good news for Team Liquid, the squad will be taking their ESL One Malaysia journey complete with their whole players.

iNSaNiA and the team are expected to face other giants including OG in their group stage. They are also set to face Nigma Galaxy, Fnatic, BOOM Esports, and TSM in the following days.
