VP (Virtus Pro), or Outsiders during Dota events, accepted Valve’s ruling and is now looking towards the qualifier.

The Russian team VP (Virtus Pro), now known as Outsiders, finally accepted their qualifier necessity. Although they will have to face strong teams such as BetBoom and Navi, VP seems to be upbeat about their chance.

The qualifier for EEU will start on 3rd September 2022, at the same time as all other qualifiers.

In their earlier tweets, VP was still hoping they could get the direct invite with the points calculations from Liquipedia. However, fans were already accepting the result, and are also asking the organization to do the same.

Several days after the earlier tweets, VP finally confirmed that they accepted Valve’s rulings.

VP tweeted that they were not discouraged about the result and will take it in stride.

“Apparently, the bear isn’t that good at math… but it doesn’t make him any less dangerous.

Smashing the qualifier’s door open on the 3rd of September.”

Fans have mixed reactions regarding Valve’s ruling on the DPC Points calculation. Some regretted that Valve was still sticking to the rounding-down rule that could make teams such as Outsiders unable to qualify.

Others, however, praised Valve for being consistent with the rulings and remaining unbiased with it.
