Iceiceice Faces Disappointing Loss in Team SMG Debut

Iceiceice is on a bad start with his new squad, Team SMG, after losing to Execration. Fortunately, they managed to bounce back after.

The Singaporean player’s debut in a new team did not go too well while fans are high on expectations. Team SMG suffered a defeat in a BO1 against Execration in the Gamers Galaxy 2022.

Fortunately, they managed to bounce back and won against RSG in their next game, gaining a point.

SMG’s first game with Iceiceice turned into a disaster against Execration. Although many expected the team to roll-over Execration, things turned otherwise.

Palos looked very comfortable with Razor in the game, while MidOne failed to make any impact with his Pangolier. As such, Xctn took the game at the 33rd minute of the game.

SMG’s next game against RSG also went tense, with both teams showing peak performance. This time, Iceiceice looks very comfortable with his Timbersaw, dictating the whole game. However, Midone’s reluctance to buy BKB made the game a lot harder for SMG.

SMG finally managed to win the game at the 37th minute of the game and went 1-1 currently at the group stage.

They will be facing Fnatic who is currently winless. The match will be a huge test for their roster, as Fnatic was still fresh from the high of qualifying into TI11.

Many expected SMG to play with full strength while they’re facing Fnatic at the next match.
