Team Spirit manager explained that the team did not even prepare for the Arlington Major.

With the way they were playing during Arlington Major, fans thought Team Spirit practiced a lot for it. However, it was revealed that they did not even prepare for the Major at all.

The reason for the lacking of practice was due to the hectic scheduling between Riyadh Masters and the Major.

Team Spirit manager, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, revealed in their vlog their problems leading towards the Major. He explained that the team did not have ample time to prepare due to tight scheduling.

“After the DPC league, we immediately flew to Riyadh for the tournament, and then to Israel for visas. We didn’t prepare for the major at all,” he said.

However, the manager also told that they did manage to get some scrims during their short stay in Belgrad. Unfortunately, since every team was already in the USA, they didn’t have sufficient opponents to play with.

He also revealed that most of their preparation came from Riyadh Masters itself, and during the group stage of the Major.

Dmity also have some words regarding their performance during both Riyadh Masters and Arlington Major.

“It’s hard to say when we performed at peak form. In Riyadh, I saw the same team at TI10, it was great. Speaking of the final, we didn’t prepare. We were only preparing to defeat Secret. Back at TI, we had some time after beating Team Secret, we didn’t have such opportunity in Riyadh.”
