TNC has now parted ways with Yowe after the team’s weak DPC run. What could be their next move?

Yowe

Right after their problematic 2-5 DPC finish, TNC has decided to ax Yuri “Yowe” Dave Pacaña from the roster.

Yowe was only officially introduced to the squad back in November last year. With just almost a year of stay, Yowe and TNC have never made any statement finish in many tournaments.

During his stay, TNC remained in Division 2 of the DPC.

As of this writing, the former ‘Kings’ of Philippine Dota 2 are yet to reclaim their crown.

Right after its decision to part ways with its long-time players Gabbi, Armel, and Tims, the team has never found its former spotlight.

TNC’s downfall started after KuKu and Raven left the team. Although, the team still made some strong finishes after the addition of Kpii and March.

The team’s last glorious win was in 2020 when they bagged the title in the ESL One Thailand 2020: Asia. This win was a remarkable one as it’s a follow-through from their biggest win, MDL Chengdu Major, in the same year.

Since then, the team has never reclaimed the same shine in the scene. Their downfall continued up to their arrival in Division 2 of DPC where they are challenged by fellow struggling SEA teams.

With their ‘not-so-surprising’ move with Yowe, who do you think will be the team’s next addition? Will the team be adding another piece? Or the team will just have to do another revamp, starting from zero?
