Tundra surprisingly dropped out of Arlington Major early due to underperformance throughout the group stage. Saving strats for TI?

One of Europe’s finest, Tundra, had to exit the Arlington Major early due to continued losses. Out of all 7 matches, they did not manage a single clean series win, finishing with four draws and three losses.

Although their current DPC points should secure them their TI invite, there were still chance that they could be forced to go through the qualifier.

Tundra started the major relatively okay, with draws against BOOM and defeat against Team Spirit. Fans were hoping that Tundra could bounce and went on to a good showing at Day 2 of the tournament.

However, their underperformance went on instead on the following day.

They managed only to gain a draw against Entity while losing to the fellow Major dropout, Natus Vincere. As a result, they haven’t managed to gain a single series victory and sat on the 7th position.

Tundra’s third day against Evil Geniuses and Team Aster were classified as the toughest, and they indeed proved it.

Evil Geniuses put up a lot of fight and managed to draw against the European contender. The Group B leader, Team Aster, cleanly sweeps the match against Tundra. The result leave them with a must-win game against Beastcoast.

Sadly, their match against Beastcoast ends up in a draw again, and Tundra exits the major on the group stage.
