PSG LGD Looks Forward to Fight Tundra

XinQ, as a representative of PSG LGD, reveals that they are looking forward to fight Tundra since they deeply respect them.

As the top team of China, PSG LGD certainly gets respects from a lot of other teams. They manages to be in the top three in consecutive TIs, staying relevant in all of those years.

Right now, PSG LGD also respects a team due to their unique playstyle, which is Tundra Esports.

In an interview with the panelist of DPC China, XinQ answers a question about other teams. The panelists asks him whether PSG LGD is looking forward to face another team in other regions. Initially, XinQ says that they have no idea on other teams that they want to face in the future.

But he also elaborates that they watch a lot of Tundra games recently, although no further reasons were given.

Interestingly, XinQ also says that he would like to face the “Old VP” although he didn’t mention which VP. Many assume that the VP he is referring to is the Major winning VP, consists of superstars such as Ramzes and No[O]ne.

Unfortunately, the players in that team have splintered into many teams and aren’t going to compete in the top levels in the near future.

Tundra’s mention by XinQ gives an interesting insight on whether Chinese team also study other regions meta or not. It is widely regarded that the China region have their own meta, and as such did not really study other region’s strategies.

But recently, it seems they became more open and willing to adapt other regions strategy to bring home the Aegis to their homeland.
