EU-based organization Team Secret will continue its DPC journey without YapzOr!
In a Facebook post, the organization reported that YapzOr will be taking a longer break. The team cited his health issue as a concern.
“This is one of the hardest announcements we’ve had to make. Yazied ‘YapzOr’ Jaradat will take an extended break from Dota 2. We wish him a healthy recovery and hope for the best,” read their Facebook announcement.
Following this, Secret told that they were allowed to make quick changes in their roster. This, citing their reasonable case concerning a sick player.
“We also would like to thank Valve for allowing a mid-season roster change,” Secret told Valve.
On June 11, 2022, the team first reported YapzOr’s emergency. The team was scheduled to play against Alliance and was forced to play with a stand-in on behalf of YapzOr.
The team also subbed their veteran player following a supposed health concern.
Back in 2017, the Yazied also faced a hospital emergency ahead of Secret’s game against OG during the Epicenter. As if this writing, YapzOr’s illness remains undisclosed.
With this recurring issue, the team will be forced to continue their DPC journey without their support.
Whatever his sickness is, we surely wish him a fast recovery!
