Coach Yeb, Kairi to Join Indonesian Team

It appears the departure of Coach Yeb from ONIC was not ‘that’ surprising after all!

MPL PH team ONIC Philippines officially announced recently that their coach Paul Denver “Coach Yeb” Miranda is no longer part of the team.

In a Facebook post, the organization expressed its gratitude to the veteran coach for all his contributions to the team.

Under his helm, the organization was able to make a grand finals appearance in the M3 alongside the reigning champs, Blacklist International.

While his departure came in as a surprise, it appears this wasn’t the case after all.

Based on two reliable Hyprgame sources, Yeb will be taking his talents overseas. According to the sources, Yeb will be joining an Indonesian squad next season.

Aside from the veteran coach, ONIC PH’s decorated jungler Kairi will be packing his bags together with his coach.

Kairi, who started his career with Blacklist International, has been breaking boundaries since he joined ONIC.

Back in season 8 of MPL Philippines, Kairi secured an all-MPL PH team alongside four Blacklist players.

While both ONIC representatives remain mum on their plans, nosey fans were able to decode some of their secrets.

In an ongoing viral photo, coach Yeb was supposedly seen backstage with ONIC during the MSC. However, this was quickly denied by the coach saying that the person in the photo was just his lookalike.

While their team-up with their Indonesian counterpart ONIC ID remain unconfirmed, their transfer to an Indonesian organization is already certain.

UPDATE: ONIC PH officially released Kairi on Sunday, June 26.
