No Leadership: Cr1t Reveals Reason for Kicking Jerax

Evil Geniuses just kicked Jerax, and Cr1t has revealed their reasons!

Last year, Evil Geniuses was regarded as the best team in NA. Being the first team to qualify for The International, the team appeared to be a team to be reckoned with.

Aside from being the first team to be invited to the TI, the team also played well in Majors.

However, how the mighty have fallen as it appeared with their recent performance. Surprisingly, the top NA team was the first team to take an exit in the Stockholm Major.

Many were surprised by this, especially with their questionable drafting. This, despite many people hoping for top performance from the team as they have acquired a two-time TI champion, Jerax.

Recently, the team has bid farewell to this new addition. His brief run with the team did not pave well for his profile as the team performed very poorly.

Cr1t Reveals Why EG Decided to Kick Jerax

With his departure, Cr1t revealed the team’s reasoning. According to the veteran, the team decided to kick Jerax because of their own lackings. He revealed that their poor Major performance forced them to part ways with the veteran.

According to Cr1t, the team lacked a captain which made them push through with this decision.

“We definitely all f**ked up, in terms of realizing what the team needed when we brought in Jesse (JerAx) and Egor (Nightfall),” he said.

“We just had something lacking on this team, that nobody could really bring. More than anything it was me, Artour(Arteezy) and Bulba’s fault because we should have realized what we had on the last team, what we needed, and made sure we had a complete team. So that’s pretty much the downfall of this roster,” he added.

The veteran continued to reveal that the team was already doomed to fail from day one. He continued saying that they had to quickly decide as they had a short free time ahead of The International 11.

“Try to understand that the decisions that we make are not something that we just do from one day to another or because somebody plays bad. It’s because we need the structure of the team to be as good as possible.”

Currently, the team remains incomplete with DPC 2021/22 from Tour 3 resuming next week. It is expected that Evil Geniuses will be announcing its latest addition by then.
