Philippines’ SIBOL team represented by Blacklist was shrouded with doubts, but is now ready to claim a gold!
In an old Blacklist way, the Philippine representatives have ransacked their way to the grand finals without dropping any game.
For their semifinals match, the team cleared the Singaporeans with a 2-1 score. This is the only match where the team dropped a single game in a series.
Ahead of this semifinals, the team easily cleared their obstacles with a convincing 2-0 score.
With this, SIBOL’s Blacklist is now preparing for a gold match scheduled tomorrow, May 20.
Currently, the squad consists of the M3-winning squad helmed by Johnmar âOhMyV33NUSâ Villaluna. The reigning ‘kween’ is teamed up with his fellow championship teammates, Danerie âWiseâ James Del Rosario and Salic âHadjiâ Alauya Imam.
Together with the experienced players are new names– Russel âEyonâ Aaron Usi, Lee âOwlâ Howard Gonzales, and Kyle âDominicâ Dominic Soto. All three entered by trying out for the team.
This combination of veterans and rookies is now on a waiting game for a potential gold in the ongoing SEA Games.
