Ponlo explained the circumstances behind his exit from Quincy Crew!
Ponlo’s exit from Quincy Crew with Milan did not come as a surprise to the team’s fans, as their performance was considered subpar. Quincy Crew’s performance during DPC NA Tour 2 proves their recent lack of performance.
However, it turns out that Ponlo has his own views on why he exits the top NA team.
Through Twitter, Ponlo wrote a Twitlonger concerning his situation while on the team. He said that there were too many distractions that made him lose focus while playing. From uncertain accommodation situations, to feeling isolated because he finds it difficult to meet his teammates in person.
According to him, the logistical reasons prevented the Quincy Crew team from reaching their potential, losing their spot at the Stockholm Major.
He also admits that he played pretty badly during his time at Quincy Crew, but he doesn’t want to go into details at this point. Ponlo also felt that QC could actually solve all these problems if they held a bootcamp.
However, as a team that played without a sponsor, it seemed difficult for them to do so, which resulted in their defeat in the DPC NA tiebreaker.
