Malaysia to Host MSC 2022 for the First Time

Malaysia will be hosting MSC 2022 for the first time!

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia according to Moonton’s announcement. With this, twelve teams will compete for Southeast Asia’s supreme squad’s title for a combined prize pool of USD 300,000.

This year’s tournament marks its return to an offline LAN competition, and Myanmar is one of the competing countries. The said tournament will be held between 11 to 19.

Fans can look forward to the group draw starting on May 29. The draw will be providing further details pertaining to the group stage format. The full list of the twelve participating and qualifying Southeast Asian countries is as follows:

MSC was previously hosted offline in Jakarta (Indonesia) and Manila (Philippines). This year will be hosted in Malaysia and the first in the country.

In 2021, the regional competition secured a peak-concurrent viewership of 2 284 012, along with a combined 32 711 776 hours watched, according to Esports Charts.

Execration

The current reigning champ in the MSC is from Philippines, represented by formerly Execration Esports, now OMEGA Esports.
