Gabbi Cursed? T1 Loses Against Polaris

T1 bowed to Polaris in their first game of DPC by a landslide score of 2-0, and many are saying Gabbi is cursed.

Many have high expectations for one of the TI finalists from SEA, T1. Previously, no one thought that T1 would have a hard time at the end of the previous season’s DPC. But many expected that they will come back in the next season.

However, reality hits different, and T1 had to lose against a promoted team from Division 2, Polaris Esports.

T1 was even slaughtered 2-0 by the promotion team with a very “sluggish” gameplay. In a total of 2 games, T1 only managed to get 9 kills. Meanwhile, Polaris was able to defeat them with a total of 38 kills in 2 consecutive games. Many factors became the defeat of the SEA mainstay team.

There was one name that the fans said was the main factor in his defeat, namely Gabbi.

Gabbi officially replaced 23savage before the previous Regional Finals. However, they have only seen a slight improvement while their rival, Boom Esports, is growing rapidly. In fact, the change in carry that T1 did was said to be the reason for their declining performance.

With this inefficient change, many actually suggest that Gabbi is cursed.
