SEA had to lose another potential players, vtFaded and Ahjit, because they were caught smurfing in the Open Qualifier DPC SEA.

Another bad news came from the professional SEA scene. Team Orca were banned by Valve due to a fairly serious scandal. Their players were caught smurfing in the Open Qualifier DPC SEA, in order to make another team pass that turns out to be owned by the same person, namely Team Apex.

As a result, a total of 10 players were permanently banned from Valve events.

Each player from Team Orca and Team Apex were banned from the Valve event forever for violating these rules. The 2 really big names on the list are vtFaded and Ahjit, who are already competing internationally.

Many regret their decision to do this, because Team Orca itself has the potential to qualify for Division 1 in the second season later.

Both Ahjit and vtFaded have been active in the professional Dota 2 scene for a long time. They even were once a part of LGD. There is some speculation behind the reason they dare to do this, such as the low salary for players in SEA.

However, that’s not a valid reason for them to violate the competitive integrity of Dota 2 that Valve holds so highly of.
