Topson Likely to Return to Scene If... (HYPRGAME)

The legendary Topson is likely to get back to work only for some reason!

Winning The International (TI) title twice, in a row, is one of the rarest feats in the Dota 2 scene. The only team who’s done this is OG back in 2018 and 2019.

OG’s former glorious team included Topias Miikka “Topson” Taavitsainen who retired last year. Recently, the powerhouse player has been hinting at going back to the scene.

However, the player revealed that he already lacks the motivation he had back as a pro player. According to the player, he’d definitely suit up his old clothes only if he regains his former drive as a player.

“Having a family and all that, I still feel like I want to provide for the family and I still enjoy Dota a lot but I wouldn’t say right now I don’t know if I would go back to pro anytime soon,” Topson told in OG’s Monkey Business Show Topson episode 9.

According to Topson, he’s already lost the drive he had before. He said that he does not have the motivation which most young players have right now.

“Because I can see from these new teams and players how they have the motivation and fire that I know I don’t necessarily have right now. So I know it’s gonna be a very tough uphill battle if I were to return. So, I am probably just gonna chill and wait for the moment when I feel like I am at my peak again. And if that ever happens, then you guys might see me again in the scene.”

During the episode, Topias mentioned how the current Team Spirit and OG are playing. Both teams currently have young players who are playing well during games.
