‘Best in A Year’: Tundra’s Nine in Facing Yopaj

Tundra’s Nine sees Yopaj as the best midlaner yet for this year!

In many years, mid players have been viewed as the most impactful role in every Dota 2 game. Currently, Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer of BOOM and Leon “Nine” Kirilin is currently viewed as one of the best midlaners.

Nine and Yopaj had a chance to meet multiple times during the Gamers Galaxy tournament in Dubai. As for Tundra’s Nine, Yopaj is currently the best midlaner he faced for at least this year.

Back in Gamers Galaxy, Tundra and BOOM met in the grand finals. During a pre-finals interview, Tundra’s midlaner shared his compliments for his SEA counterpart Yopaj.

“To be honest, he (Yopaj) has probably been the best midlaner I have played against throughout the last year. That’s why I am happy that I will be the one to beat him internationally,” praised Nine.

Following the answer, Kyle “Kyle” Freedman went straight to Yopaj to share Nine’s compliments. Upon receiving the information, Yopaj seemed shocked about it and also shared his good luck for Nine before the finals.

The grand finals of the tournament ended as a bloodbath between BOOM and Tundra. BOOM took the win in the tournament, 3-2, and took home $109,000 USD as prize-winning.
