Omega Captures First Win Against Powerhouse Onic

Omega has finally captured its first win!

In the previous weeks, Omega Esports has been suffering from multiple losses. Much like Blacklist International, Omega has also captured its first win in week 3.

ONIC Esports, despite making a strong performance, failed to stall Omega from getting its first dub this season. In the third game of their series, Grant “Kelra” Duane Pillas showed supremacy securing the team its elusive victory.

In the first game of the series,  Dean “Raizen” Christian Sumagui’s Lancelot stepped up for Omega. Despite having a stronger team fight, ONIC failed to capitalize on the draft as the team did not engage in clashes during advantageous situations.

Omega took advantage of the issue taking the first game of the series.

The second game was almost similar to the first one. ONIC Trailed in the late game but held on long enough to recuperate from their lackings. After acquiring key items, ONIC stepped up and emerged as the better team to win the match.

Unlike the first and second games, the third one was a balanced exchange between the two. This time, ONIC took the lead in the early game. Omega, on the other hand, had the better team fight draft.

Battle blew up in the 18th minute, and Omega seemed to have lost the game after almost losing its Nexus. With the time ticking down, Kelra showed up and wiped out ONIC Esports. Getting a small opportunity, OMEGA stole the game even before ONIC had the chance to defend.
