The Russia – Ukraine crisis continues, and Team Spirit is making the spirit of solidarity prevail!

On Tuesday, March 1, TI 10 champs Team Spirit told that it will be donating its tournament winnings to Red Cross.

Among its players, Miroslaw “Mira” Kolpakov will be the only Ukrainian player who will not be joining the tournament in Dubai.

Team Spirit is reportedly attending Gamers Galaxy: Dota 2 Invitational Series Dubai 2022 starting March 2.

In the meantime, Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosian of CIS Rejects will play as a substitute player.

“Myroslav “Mira” Kolpakov is currently in Ukraine and won’t be able to participate in the tournament. He’s safe and he’s getting all necessary support. He will be substituted by Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosian,” read the team’s tweet.

As of this writing, Mira is reportedly staying in Ukraine. The country is currently facing an invasion threat against neighboring country Russia.

In support of the victims, Team Spirit noted that their possible winnings will proceed to the International Red Cross Movement. The said tournament will be putting a 1,000,000 AED prize pool (272,250 USD).

The said tournament will be featuring top teams including Fnatic, Nigma Galaxy, TSM, and Tundra Esports.

Similarly, Valve also postponed Eastern Europe DPC indefinitely. Originally, the tour was scheduled for the second week of March.

According to data, EEU DPC features 14 Ukrainian players. To assure the players’ welfare, the organizers to put the tournament on hold.
