Dota 2 legend Dendi asks Russian soldiers who know esports and are fans of it to stop their attack on Ukraine.
Russia continues to attack Ukraine, and even now Belarus is preparing to also attack the country. Many esports athletes are trying to resolve the situation, including players from Ukraine. Dendi was one of those players, who asked the Russian soldiers to stop their attack.
He even explained that Russia’s actions were groundless because no Russian citizens were harmed in Ukraine.
Through his Youtube channel, Dendi explained his current condition because he was still in Ukraine. He looks scared because he hears the explosions of rockets around him, but he confirms that he is okay for now.
He also said that this video was devoted to his neighbors, namely the Russian people.
Dendi then asked Russian citizens to stop believing the propaganda that Russia issued to justify their war. He believed that many Russian citizens and even soldiers are fans of esports. Due to that, he hopes they can spread this message.
Dendi continued that Ukraine does not need “assistance” from Russia, and not even Russian citizens are oppressed in Ukraine. Apparently, he hoped that Russian propaganda would be wiped out and citizens would rise up to protest this pointless war.
