Hadji’s Arrival in Blacklist was Intimidating – Wise

Hadji’s arrival in Blacklist was something really scary for Wise.

In a video posted by Blacklist CEO Tryke, jungle specialist Wise admitted that Hadji’s arrival intimidated him.

Ahead of his hype moment, Wise was criticized for his supposed ‘limited’ hero pool. According to his critics, Danerie “Wise” James Del Rosario rarely used assassins.

Wise became famous for using marskmen heroes for his jungles which actually made him more unpredictable. As coach BON CHAN explained, Wise’s hero picks are part of the team’s strategy.

According to Tryke, Hadji’s arrival lowered Wise’s morale. This, since Hadji is also an exceptional jungler which made him famous in the scene despite being young.

“This wasn’t made public but I told Rada (Elrasec “Radacars” Ocampo) before Season 8 began that ‘there will be players, one or two of them that may think Hadji should be the one (jungler)’,” told Tryke.

Wise Overcomes Pressure, Befriends Hadji

With this, the CEO assumed that the move might have pressured wise to think that Hadji was better. Wise also revealed that he actually lacked confidence during that time.

“That’s what I was thinking before. My problem back then is my confidence, I feel like I was lacking that before,” the M3 champ told.

Despite the pressure, Wise and Hadji eventually became good friends. In Hadji’s arrival in MPL PH Season 8, the player played a key role in their success and even earned an MVP title.

Wise, on the other hand, retained his position which was crucial for the team’s Ultimate Bonding Experience strategy.

“I did not expect to be so close with Hadji. I just wanna share, Hadji is my whole MPL. It’s like, I don’t see any bad attitude, when you see him, you feel happy,” Wise revealed.

Pressured to confidence? This time the reigning M3 champ jungler is now enjoying his break. Together with his long-time partner, Wise will be taking a break at least for this season to recover from the stress from taking several achievements.
