ESL to Host Stockholm Major With Live Audience

ESL announced that Stockholm Major which will be held on May 20-22, 2022! Will it replace the TI10 hype, which should be held in Stockholm?

Dota 2 players in Sweden must have been disappointed because they couldn’t watch TI10 in their city. In fact, what made them even more disappointed, few months after TI10 was canceled, there was a CS:GO Major that they could watch live in Stockholm. This adds to their disappointment as Dota 2 players.

However, it looks like ESL will fulfill Valve’s promise to hold a Dota event in Stockholm, with the announcement of Stockholm Major.

Through various social media, ESL announced that they would be holding the Stockholm Major. The date of the event is a few months away, 20-22 May 2022 to be exact. This will certainly make Dota 2 pro players even more excited to face the next season.

Moreover, this will be the first Dota 2 LAN in 2022.

However, many are pessimistic about the possibility that the major will run smoothly without a hitch. Moreover, ESL promised the event to be open to the public. They are worried that there will be a new variant of Covid that will cancel the whole event.

Even so, there are still many who are optimistic that this event will continue, even though the possibility of cancellation is still very high.
