Quincy Crew Finally Gets Sponsored

Quincy Crew, after a difficult search for sponsors, finally found their first partner, the Interactive Gaming Group.

After one of their competitors, Undying got a sponsorship from TSM, now it’s Quincy’s turn to finally get partnered. They got sponsorship from a digital group called the Interactive Gaming Group.

In addition to being an official sponsor, it seems that this partnership also aims to get more sponsors for the team from NA.

The CEO of IGG, Cristina Niculae, hopes that 2022 will be the perfect year for them to partner with Quincy Crew. They also took notice of QC’s achievement in the Upper Division DPC NA 2021, and finally decided to become one of the team’s sponsors.

Team Manager from QC, Jack Chen or commonly called KBBQDotA, also hopes that their partnership can benefit both parties.

However, the response from fans was not very good judging from some of the Reddit threads. Many argue that their newest partner is one of the worst gambling sponsors for the Dota 2 scene. In fact, there are some betting features that involve streamers’ games, not just tournaments.

KBBQDotA, as the manager, clarified by stating that IGG was only helping them to get sponsors. They act as an intermediary to seek sponsorship and did not sponsor them directly, which includes providing funding.
