Dubstep is now dubbed as the best Valorant player in Asia!
VALO2ASIA has recently hailed Jayvee âDubstePâ Paguirigan as the best Asian Player for 2021.
Last year, Team Secret shocked the Valorant scene by taking a game from Gambit Esports during the Valorant Champions 2021 tournament. During the same tournament, many eyes were locked on DubsteP for his world-class performance during the event.
Given his superstar performance, it’s no longer surprising for the Filipino player to receive awards.
According to the Board of Judges which consisted of casters and analysts, DubsteP was at the top for taking the team up to the playoffs of Champions.
During the same tournament, DubsteP placed in the top 8 in the average combat score (ACS).
Aside from Jayvee, other members of Team Secret were also able to take a place in the top 20 Asian Players.
Jessie âJessieVashâ Cristy Cuyco and Riley âwitzâ Go took the 11th and 13th spots. Meanwhile, Jim âBORKUMâ Timbreza and Kevin âDispenserâ Te ranked 16th and 17th respectively.
Team Secret was definitely one of the biggest shockers in the Valorant Champions. The all-Filipino squad placed second during the group stage, and ended at 5th-8th spot in the tournament.
Despite not making the top 3 spots, Secret was definitely a shocker as they were newbies in the international scene. Originally, the team was to debut in the international scene in the Berlin Masters.
However, due to unfortunate circumstances, the team wasn’t able to attend the tournament. Following the disappointing turn of events, the squad was surprisingly by Team Secret.
Considering their new additions to the team, DubsteP and the squad will definitely go bigger this year.
