3 Top Teams With Winner’s Potential

Although some teams failed to perform at the beginning of this 2021 DPC, some of them have the potential to shine next year. Anyone?

1. Team Secret
   Team Secret is one of the teams that has the potential to win the upcoming majors because of their roster. In the carry position, there is Nisha who is very efficient in farming, accompanied by the captain Puppey. Midlane is also controlled by Sumail the King, and iceiceice and Yapzor can dominate the offlane.

However, it looks like they still have to find chemistry before they can win a major in a row. Teams with superstars will take some time to gel. However, one of Puppey’s strengths is that he recognizes new metas quickly, and a patch is likely to be out soon.

2. Evil Geniuses
   Many were very disappointed with the performance of Evil Geniuses during the Upper Division DPC NA. They lost 2 times against the bottom teams, and have to win the rest of their matches against top NA teams like Undying and Quincy Crew. Many say that EG’s new players, namely Jerax and Nightfall, have weakened the team.

There’s something people should remember about EG. Their team consists of well-known supports, namely Cr1t, one of the best soft supports, and Jerax, the winner of 2 TI in a row. Their cores are also no less strong in Abed and Arteezy. When Jerax is back in shape after 2 years of Dota break, EG will definitely look more frightening than before.

3. Fnatic
   Fnatic’s new roster were initially predicted to become T1 rivals in the Upper Division of DPC SEA. However, BOOM instead became the rival while Fnatic floundered in the middle of the placements. On paper, their roster is quite strong with the addition of Armel and Jaunuel. However, it seems they still have to find their chemistry.

If they can find the right gameplay rhythm, Upper Division SEA will certainly be more exciting.
