Team Spirit Steamrolls Secret for Dota PIT Final

Team Spirit continued their win streak by defeating Team Secret with close series, 2-1. They entered the Dota PIT Grand Final!

Team Spirit resumed their winstreak by defeating Team Secret 2-1 in the Dota PIT Semi Final. With this win, they have won 12 times in a row. Team Spirit also officially competed in the Grand Finals of a tournament for the second time in a row. Usually, The International champions will be unmotivated after winning. Team Spirit, obviously an exception, looks even more motivated.

The first game started with a fairly experimental draft from Team Spirit. They used Centaur Warrunner offlane and Tidehunter hard support, which seemed to be effective. Team Spirit and Team Secret exchanged kills in the early to midgame, and the game was even. However, Team Spirit started to take over the game as it entered the 29th minute, and they won the game in the 36th minute.

The second game runs quite differently. Team Secret this time dominated from the beginning of the early game, and built their lead into the late game. Even though Team Spirit tried to make a comeback, Team Secret’s discipline forced them to give up in the 51st minute. Team Secret equalized the series thanks to a good game from Nisha and Sumail.

Team Spirit avenged their defeat in the third game with a fast-paced draft. They immediately controlled the early game, and snowball with their gold lead. iceiceice’s Offlane Ogre Magi struggled to have an impact, and Team Secret lost in the 34th minute.
