Young Kelra is already demanding a break!
Prodigy Duane “Kelra” Pillas is reportedly considering taking a break from being a pro.
According to Kelra’s vlog, he’s been facing many issues internally, and that he’s been feeling sluggish recently. Ahead of this, Z4pnu of OMEGA Esports recently revealed that the young player is being scouted by the Indonesian team, RRQ.
Despite Z4pnu’s vlog, however, Kelra’s transfer to RRQ remains unfounded. Currently, Kelra remains unclear whether he will be playing in Season 9 or not.
“I feel tired, I don’t know but I want to take a break just like Killuash,” stated Kelra. “The events (this year) were too much, very hard,” the young player added.
Killuash is a player recently signed to Aura PH before it rebranded to ECHO Esports. The player then entered into a hiatus and is being rumored to return this upcoming season.
ECHO recently teased its upcoming roster, although its main details are yet to be confirmed until December 21.
Ahead of MPL PH Season 8, the young prodigy faced backlash over his homophobic remarks. Kelra released some homophobic statements directed at Jhonmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Rosario.
Following his remarks, the player received a 14-day suspension with an unknown penalty from MPL. Additionally, OMEGA Esports also issued a penalty on the player on top of the one from MPL.
As of this moment, the player remains unconfirmed whether he will be joining Season 9 of MPL or not. Or maybe the player is definitely joining RRQ? Or… he’s really taking a break?
