Nigma now sits at the bottom of the Upper Division EUW DPC 2021 standings due to another defeat against Tundra. Is it because of Miracle’s absence?
After Nigma lost in the first match against the former Vikin.gg team, Team Tickles, now they lost again in their second match. Their defeat this time was against Tundra, one of the teams that were predicted to be the Top 4 in the Upper Division EUW DPC 2021. Did this losing streak happen because Miracle was still taking a break?
The first game was the beginning of the Nigma massacre at the hands of the Tundra. Nigma uses a pretty interesting draft, with the unconventional hard support Warlock. They also put GH on Weaver in the soft support position. Unfortunately, this decision was their downfall because Tundra was able to clean up the first game with a superior draft.
Meta heroes like Phantom Assassin and Spirit Breaker became Tundra’s strength in the first game, and they took over the match from the first minute. Nigma gave up in the 24th minute with a one-sided score, which is 6 – 37.
In the second game, the game runs more or less the same as the first game with Tundra controlling the pace of the game. However, Nigma managed to keep up with Tundra’s game to the midgame. The game was even, until in the 27th minute when Tundra took Roshan after winning a small fight in the jungle of their enemy.
Tundra used the Roshan to ambush their unprepared foes, and they finally won the series in the 40th minute with a gold lead of 40,000 after Nigma had repeatedly lost teamfights.
