Many rosters have been locked for the upcoming 2021-2022 DPC Season 1. Who are the biggest winners in this roster shuffle?

Team Secret

  1. Micha “Nisha” Jankowski
  2. “Sumail” Hassan
  3. Daryl “iceiceice” Koh Pei Xiang
  4. Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat
  5. Clement “Puppey” Ivanov (c)

It’s no secret that many Dota 2 players have the opinion that Team Secret is the biggest winner in this shuffle roster. Even though they lost some of their long-time players like zai and Matumbaman, the new players who replaced them were no less skilled. Sumail, who returned to the midlane, and iceiceice who finally played in Europe were the two new Team Secret players.

Although the European region is a fairly fierce region, many predict that Team Secret can dominate the region with their latest roster.

Winners Roster Shuffle

Team Liquid

Even though Team Secret was predicted to be the strongest team in Europe, Team Liquid could be the team’s fiercest rival. After failing to qualify for The International 10, they reshuffled the roster with veteran players. Taiga and qojqva became players who provided spaces for zai and MATUMBAMAN.

If many people’s predictions are correct, then we will see Zai again with his famous soft support, returning from the offlane. Many have the opinion that Zai plays better in the soft support position than offlane.

  1. Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen
  2. Michael “miCKe” Vu
  3. Samuel “Boxi” Svahn
  4. Ludwig “zai” WĂ„hlberg
  5. Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi (c)

Biggest Winners of Roster Shuffle: Evil Geniuses

  1. Artour “Arteezy” Babaev
  2. “Abed” Yusuf
  3. Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko
  4. Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen
  5. Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka

Jerax’s return to the competitive Dota 2 scene is a heartbreak for OG fans because he chose to join Evil Geniuses. EG decided to replace 2 of their players, iceiceice and Fly, with players that were quite exciting, namely Nightfall and Jerax. Nightfall is a former Virtus Pro carry who managed to bring them to finish The International 10 respectfully. However, no one expected that Nightfall would change its role to offlane.

On the other hand, Jerax caused an uproar in the competitive Dota 2 scene with the inclusion of him replacing Fly. It seems Jerax will fill the hard support position in the upcoming DPC season. However, there has been no official word yet for who will be the captain in this new EG team, which has huge potential to sweep the majors later.

Fnatic

Fnatic became one of the winners of the latest shuffle roster. After an unsatisfactory result at The International 10, they overhauled their roster with strong and high potential players. Armel was one of the players who joined them from the TNC team. Many have the opinion that Armel can shine with a roster that can take advantage of his strength as a mid player.

Another new player for Fnatic is Jaunuel, one of the rising stars who occupies a hard support position. Jaunuel has very high mechanical skills, different from other hard support players. This allows him to have very high flexibility in the hard support position.

  1. Marc Polo “Raven” Luis Fausto
  2. “Armel” Paul Tabios
  3. Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong (c)
  4. Djardel “DJ” Ablesti
  5. “Jaunuel” Arcilla

Royal Never Give Up

  1. Zhong â€œćœŁććŽç‚Œâ€ Liushuai
  2. Lu “Somnus䞶M” Yao
  3. Yang “Chalice” Shenyi
  4. Chong “FelixCiaoBa” Wei Lun
  5. Yep “xNova” Jian Wei

From the China DPC region, RNG is one of the teams that has great potential to become a rival to the TI10 finalists, PSG.LGD, with their newest roster. Former TI8 finalists became new players on the team, namely Somnus, Chalice, and xNova. Even though they didn’t get good results at TI10, the next season will be their chance to show that they can still compete at a high level.

With inconsistent IG and other Chinese teams still needing to find chemistry, RNG could become PSG.LGD’s fiercest rival in the upcoming DPC season.
